What are the rules for solving mixed operations activities?
Many people usually get confused when they need to solve problems involving more than two or three operations. With regard to this, we have designed exciting activities with rules for solving mixed operations activities. We refer to this rule as BODMAS.
BODMAS is an acronym for Bracket, Of (Orders), Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction.
Now, if you are solving a problem consisting of all the operations above, evaluate Brackets first, the Of (Orders) second, Division or Multiplication third (from left to right, whichever comes first), and Addition or Subtraction the last (from left to right, whichever comes first).
